Aladere Waterfall

It is located in Faralya Village, which has remained one of the most untouched corners of Fethiye, one of the rarest corners of our country, and in Kabak Valley, the refuge of young people in recent years. The waterfall in the forest, which can be reached by a 60-minute walk from Kabak, spills from a height of 3-4 meters. It created a natural pool with a depth of 170 cm and a width of 15-20 square meters at the spill site. The scent of sandalwood trees, carobs, pines and all kinds of plants mixes with the fresh air along the road leading to Aladere Waterfall, which is reached by walking through the adrenaline-increasing paths via the Lycian Way. Individual walks are not recommended due to the difficulty of accessing the waterfall, where professional guided tours are also organized, and the lack of signage.

The cove, which was added to the list of “6 secret holiday paradises in Turkey” in the Times, one of the world’s leading magazines, was discovered in 1987. Kabak Bay, which became one of the most popular areas of the region shortly after its discovery, is frequently preferred for activities such as sea tourism, nature exploration, camping and picnics today. Since there is not much construction around, the bay where you can spend time with nature is located at a point surrounded by slopes. Since it is protected as a protected area, it is recommended that you take your marine equipment with you before you go to the beach, which has no facilities around it. The region, where the sea is wavy and deep, is rarely preferred by families with children for this reason.
