Konyaalti Beach
Set in the city of Antalya, Konyaalti Beach is on the Mediterranean Coast on the west side of the town centre. It is a Blue Flag beach, so you know that the water is clean and safe for swimming, and there are no shortage of amenities close to hand.
The beach itself doesn’t have the softest sand in the world, in fact it is a little pebbly, however this helps to keep the water crystal clear. And this is a big beach, stretching on seemingly for ever, well seven kilometers. With a backdrop of the Beydaglari Mountains and a backdrop of verdant park it can be easy to forget you are on a city beach.
OLYMPOS & CIRALI
Olympos and Cirali share one spectacular beach. This makes it people assume they can easily commute between the two but it is not the case. There is a river that divides the 2 towns (you can slightly see at the bottom of the photo) and it takes 30-40 mins to walk or drive from one the other.
Olympos Beach is in the 10th place out of 181 beaches in the Antalya region 57.8km away from its center, the city of Antalya. It is one of the beaches of Yazir settlement, just 6.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.
About a one-hour drive from Antalya’s city center, Çıralı is one of the province’s most laid back and natural beaches that just happens to be next to an ancient Lycian city. How to Get There? If you have a rental car you can drive from Antalya to Çıralı in 1.5 hours along the D400 highway that mostly follows the coast. If you’d rather take public transportation, you’ll have to get to Antalya’s Bus Terminal and take a bus that goes to Kumluca, Finike, Demre, or Kaş and tell the driver you want to get off at the Çıralı intersection. Once you reach this intersection, there are always minibusses waiting to drive people down to the seaside, which is still pretty far down (around a ten-minute drive).
Kaputas Beach
With the inviting color of its turquoise water, Kaputas Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches not only in Turkey, but around the world. Kaputas is located on the main connecting Kas and Kalkan, 20 kilometers from Kas and just 7 kilometers from Kalkan.
Belek Public Beach (Belek Halk Plajı)
A public beach offering excellent outdoor fun
Belek Public Beach (Belek Halk Plajı) is the go-to spot for outdoor recreation. The Blue Flag-awarded beach stretches over 16 km, with several world-class golf clubs and 5-star resorts along its length. Parts of the beach that contain facilities like sun loungers, water sports equipment, and volleyball courts are exclusive to these hotels.
Head to the large beach park right next to Belek Halk Plajı to find a kid’s playground, cabana chairs, fitness equipment, and a go-kart track. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and bars if you’re feeling peckish after a day at the beach.

Bogazkent Beach
Great for sailing and windsurfing
Bogazkent Beach has a natural dune landscape and a wide sandy expanse. Located east of the Kopru River’s mouth, it’s a very popular place for recreational activities like windsurfing or sailing. Turtles often come to lay eggs on its shores, especially near the dunes.
The eastern part of Bogazkent Beach has many all-inclusive hotels and resorts overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It’s usually busy with families, so head towards the central or western end for a relaxing atmosphere. Swimming is quite safe, thanks to mild waves on both ends of the beach.
