Rizvaniye Mosque
Located on the northern edge of Balıklıgöl, the mosque was built in 1736 (Hijri.1149) by the Governor of Raqqa, Rıdvan Ahmet Pasha. It was built parallel to the mihrab and with three domes. To the east of the mosque is a minaret with a single balcony. The entrance door of the harim was made using two-color materials. The sanctuary (main place of worship) is quite bright with windows opening from all directions. The most interesting part of the building as decoration is the entrance door. The wooden door was made with the technique of inserting and inlaying without using nails. There are rich herbal and geometric patterns on the door. The madrasa is located in the north of the mosque courtyard.
