Çeltikdere Bizans Kilisesi
The Byzantine Church, made of cut stone and brick in the form of a cross, in accordance with the classical religious architecture of the middle Byzantine period (842-1204), located near the village of Çeltikdere, was built on a slope. There is a narthex in the west of the church, and an apse with three overhangs in the east. However, none of the four columns carrying the central dome has survived. The church, which is stated to have been used as a mosque until the 1950s, was later abandoned to its fate, and since its roof was removed, it began to be destroyed. The building, which was built of neat cut stone and brick, showing a flamboyant and clean workmanship, is 13 meters long and 9 meters wide.
