St. George Armenian Apostolic Church (Eski Ermeni Kilisesi)
It is located in Fouzi Pasha neighborhood in the center of Çanakkale city. With a history of 150 years, it is an important religious monument that remains from the old cosmopolitan life of Chanak Kale. This mosque is located in Chaharshi Kadsi and Tifli Mosque.
When the history of the old Armenian church is investigated, it is found that it was built by Abd al-Aziz for the Armenian people of Chanak Kale. It was built in 1873. The building, which worked as a theater until 1997, was later renovated. During the restoration work done in 1997, the original cross and petroglyph of the church were found. In 2000, this building was organized as the Ethnographic Museum of Chanak Kale. But after the whole restoration and arrangement work, it remained unused. In 2005, Unskis Mart was assigned to Chanaqele University.
