Samsun Protestan Kilisesi
Samsun Protestant Church is the only Protestant church in the Black Sea region. It is the church where Protestants living in Samsun and its surroundings generally attend the prayers. Previously, there was a high demand because the Christians living in the region could not perform their religious duties. In line with this demand, it was established in 1993, when Pastor Orhan Pıçaklar, a member of the Antalya Church, and his family moved here. In addition to Protestant Christians living in Samsun, Catholics and Orthodox attend the church especially during Christmas and Easter rites.
Although the language of worship is Turkish, Arabic and Persian are worshiped to serve the Chaldean, Assyrian and Protestant Christian refugees after the influx of refugees in recent years.
